Better From Far Away
# Finally, FRIDAY.
All week I kept waiting for Friday like it would solve something.
It didn’t.
That’s the problem with anticipation. Reality almost always arrives wearing less makeup.
School felt endless today. Everybody louder than usual because weekends make people temporarily feral. Even teachers seemed emotionally unstable.
Prof. M. tried explaining history while two boys nearly killed each other with rulers in the back row. Civilization is very fragile apparently.
After classes I walked alone for a while before taking the train because I didn’t want to go home immediately yet. M. in late afternoon has this strange grey-gold light in September that makes everything look nostalgic before it even becomes memory. People always talk about wanting freedom as teenagers, but honestly I think most of us want certainty.
To know who we are going to become.
To know whether people secretly dislike us.
To know if we’ll ever stop feeling watched all the time.
Even beautiful moments feel temporary already.
Especially beautiful moments.

Remember me,
Eclipse
Why?
Because every thought leaves a trace. If something moved you, disturbed you, softened you, or made you think, leave it here, quietly.
