Two Minutes
Everybody is shouting downstairs and I can hear somebody telling me to come away from the computer. Hikari called earlier. Erick changed one detail of the plan approximately eleven times....

Friday. Edo sent me his list. I disagreed with enough of it that he accused me of making my own list purely to annoy him. This is false. Partly false....
Wednesday. I checked before writing that because I genuinely had no idea. The days between Christmas and New Year have no structure. Breakfast happens late. Lunch happens later. Somebody offers...
Monday. I am so full I may never need food again. This statement will expire tomorrow morning. Christmas was good. Really good, actually. Church, family, presents, phone calls, photographs, lunch...

Friday. Finished. Finally. I came home and put my school bag down with the deep satisfaction of knowing I do not have to look inside it tomorrow. At five I...
Wednesday. We are still physically attending school, but I don’t think this can accurately be described as education anymore. Everybody is tired. Teachers are tired. Half the conversations begin with...
Sunday. Went to Mass this morning, then later Mom and I were out in the centre and Milano is absolutely showing off now. Lights everywhere. Shop windows full of things...
Friday. Got 9½ today and managed not to spend the first five minutes looking for the missing half-point. Progress. Hikari actually noticed. I showed her the paper, said I was...
Wednesday. I came home from school with every intention of being extremely responsible. I put my bag away, changed, made tea at five, arranged the four biscuits on the plate,...
Sunday. Hikari and I went out because we both still have Christmas presents to buy and apparently thought today would be a sensible time to do it. It was not....
