saturday is worse

Read this slowly. Let the words arrive before you decide what they mean.

the funny thing about saying “never again” at four in the morning is that saturday arrives very quickly. #

Went out again. Obviously. This afternoon I told Mom I was tired and she said, `”Then stay home tonight.”` I don’t understand why parents insist on proposing solutions nobody requested. I was tired at four. I was completely fine by ten. Different department. Tonight I wanted something harder anyway. I’ve been listening to more techno and progressive lately — Ricky Le Roy, Mario Più, Zicky, Picotto, all of that is taking up more space — but hardcore hasn’t gone anywhere. I still get stupidly happy when I hear something by The Stunned Guys or Tommyknocker that I recognise immediately. Thrillseeka still does it. Nosferatu, Neophyte, The Viper, Promo, Endymion… Edo keeps sending me things and then becoming offended if I don’t listen immediately, as though he is personally responsible for the European hardcore distribution network. Tonight I wore another blue top, darker this time, and Erick asked whether I had thrown away every other colour. I told him yes. Much easier than explaining myself. Yuri called me bambolina again in front of him and this was a mistake because Erick has now discovered a new way to annoy me. He spent ten minutes saying `”Bamboliiina”` in a voice that made me want to push him down a staircase. Yuri thought this was hilarious. Betrayal everywhere. The nickname itself is getting dangerous because I actually like it. I would never have chosen it for myself — it is far too sweet — but that’s probably why I like it when Yuri says it. It belongs to him saying it, if that makes sense. Came home, MSN, Edo.

`Deathcore: so?`
`Eclipse: so what`
`Deathcore: HARDCORE`
`Eclipse: hello edo, nice to speak to you too`
`Deathcore: hello alice. HARDCORE?`

Remember me, Eclipse.

Why?

Because every thought leaves a trace. If something moved you, disturbed you, softened you, or made you think, leave it here, quietly.
