There is no reason for flowers, which may be the best reason to buy them. #
The flowers from yesterday are on the table and every time I walk past them I am pleased I ignored the tiny sensible voice saying we did not need flowers. Of course we don’t need flowers. We also don’t need earrings or perfume or music while making dinner or photographs of canals I have already photographed fifty times. Need is a very poor standard for building a life.
