the blue top argument
men who say two blue tops are identical should not be allowed near wardrobes unsupervised. #
Friday again. School was actually good today. Physics especially. I came home in a decent mood, which lasted until I decided what to wear. Yuri arrived while I was still getting ready and committed the mistake of saying, `”Didn’t you wear that last week?”` No. Last week was pale blue. This is turquoise. He looked at both tops as though I had presented two identical pieces of evidence in court.
`”Alice, they’re blue.”`
Yes, Yuri. Napoli and Sampdoria also both contain blue. Please wear the wrong shirt into the wrong crowd and report back on whether colour distinctions matter.
He sat on the bed laughing while I finished my makeup. I used my own perfume tonight because if I steal Angel every Friday Mom is eventually going to notice the bottle developing a drinking problem. Out later, techno, nothing legendary but very good. This is another thing I want to stop doing in the blog: acting as though every night has to become a story. Sometimes we go out, the music is good, somebody says something stupid, I dance, I come home. That’s life too. Tonight Hikari spent ten minutes looking for something she had in her own bag. Erick told a story that became less believable with every sentence. Yuri bought me water and then drank half of it. I saw a girl I recognise from other nights but whose name I still don’t know. We always say hello anyway. Maybe that’s enough.
Remember me, Eclipse.
Why?
Because every thought leaves a trace. If something moved you, disturbed you, softened you, or made you think, leave it here, quietly.
