valentine’s day, apparently
I dislike compulsory romance and nevertheless expect flowers. human consistency remains poor. #
Valentine’s Day. Friday. Convenient. I have a complicated relationship with Valentine’s Day because the idea of scheduling romance for the entire population is ridiculous and yet if Yuri had arrived with absolutely nothing I would probably have been offended. This is called hypocrisy and I recommend it. He gave me something small, not excessive, exactly right. I won’t describe everything because not every moment needs to be fed to the Internet. We went out later. I wore blue because I have apparently signed a contract with the colour. I used Angel again and Yuri said, `”You smell like your mother.”` I told him there are phrases a boyfriend should consider internally before speaking externally. He corrected himself to `”You smell good.”` Too late. Evidence preserved. He called me Bambolina approximately eight times tonight. The MSN nickname has now become `* Bambolina // Eclipse *` and I hate myself slightly for the decorative punctuation. Everybody’s MSN name is becoming a sentence lately anyway. Song lyrics, symbols, declarations, initials, mysterious references designed specifically so one person will understand them and twelve others will ask `”what happened???”` Perhaps civilisation was not ready for display names.
Remember me, Eclipse.
Why?
Because every thought leaves a trace. If something moved you, disturbed you, softened you, or made you think, leave it here, quietly.
